About Us

FUMC remains a strong and vibrant presence in downtown Jackson. Our membership is diverse in many ways. Our energies and efforts may sometimes move in different directions simultaneously, but the movement is refreshing.   As Senior Pastor, I am greatly encouraged by our ability to set aside those things which separate us and move forward in unity for the cause of Jesus Christ and the mission of Christ's church here on earth.  There is significant positive energy in this congregation and, for that, I am so grateful.
