Food Services

First United Methodist Church provides tasty, delightful meals for various programs- WEF, Adventures in Learning, First Friday Forum, and special events throughout the year.  Our Food Service Ministry is led by Gena Mandle and relies on volunteers.

Wanna join our volunteer kitchen crew?  We have the best volunteers around but we can always use some extra hands.

What’s Involved?

We start about 9 a.m. and go through cleanup, usually around 7 p.m. Come for an hour or two, half a day or whatever fits your schedule. Just show up when you can.  We set tables and begin prep first thing in the morning, prep/cook all day and get ready for buffet service starting about 4 p.m.

How Can I Help?

We need table setters, cooks, buffet service help, and people to help clean, especially after the meals.                          

No special skills needed, just be ready for fun! (…and you get to eat all day!)
